Quality Assurance The Cambridge Association of Management is registered with the UK Register of Learning Providers and recognised on the National Learning Directory. The UK Government Learning Skill Council is the competent authority for quality assurance of providers. UK Provider Reference Number: UKPRN 10021776 http://www.lsc.gov.uk/providers/ukrlp http://www.lsc.gov.uk/aboutus/quality UK Register of Learning Providers The UK Register of Learning Providers is a 'one-stop' portal to be used by government departments, agencies, learners, and employers to share key information about learning providers. The UKRLP allows providers to update their information in only one place and share this across agencies such as, the Learning and Skills Council, the Careers Advice Service, the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and UCAS. Each of these has been verified against a recognised external source and has been allocated a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN). This is the unique identifier used to share information with the UKRLP partner agencies. Registered providers are recognised on the National Learning Directory. The National Learning Directory The National Learning Directory is the UK Government funded national database of learning opportunities. It contains information on approximately 1 million courses from more than 10,000 providers in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The National Learning Directory feeds course and contact information to the following organisations and sites:
Careers Advice Careers advice website is the portal for the National Learning Directory and offers impartial advice on courses, careers, funding and childcare. The free advice helpline also uses the National Learning Directory. http://careersadvice.direct.gov.uk
Direct Gov DirectGov is the one stop shop for all government services and has an extensive Education section that includes a course and provider search on the National Learning Directory.
Hotcourses Hotcourses is the largest commercial educational publisher in the UK. Your courses can appear on the relevant Hotcourses websites including Hotcourses.com, Floodlight and Whatuni.
Whatuni Whatuni is an alternative online prospectus for school leavers looking to go to University. NB: Not all providers on the Learning Directory are on Whatuni.
Floodlight Floodlight is a local course browse that uses the Learning directory category system (LDCS) to easily find courses by subject. NB: Not all National Learning Directory providers will show on Floodlight. http://london.floodlight.co.uk http://sheffield.floodlight.co.uk
Education UK Education UK is the British Council website for international students looking to study in the UK. NB: Not all National Learning Directory providers will show on Education UK.
Nextstep organisations Nextstep promotes learning and work to all adults aged 20 and over. Their services are available throughout England.
Employer Guide to Training The LSC site for employers to view feedback on learning provision from other employers.
Other portals There are other portals and services that use the National Learning Directory including various BBC and Channel 4 sites and Sector Skills Councils.
